Frozen Dough
Water retention and anti-staling: helps slow retrogradation and hardening so frozen dough does not weep through repeated cold-chain freeze-thaw cycles and does not shrink or crack after thawing.
Request SpecsPhysically modified starch that dissolves in cold water without cooking — no heating step on your line. Available in drum-dried and extruded grades on waxy corn, corn, tapioca, potato and wheat bases, with cold viscosity and mesh size precisely customizable to your process. 25,000 tons/year capacity from our single Suzhou factory.
Instant cold-water thickening, water retention and texture improvement: pregelatinized starch dissolves and swells directly in cold water to form a paste, with no cooking step on your line. This physically modified starch series spans five base materials, with cold viscosity and mesh size precisely customizable to your formula.
Every line in this series is cold water soluble and physically modified. Choose your base material, then customize cold viscosity and mesh size to match the target process.
| Base Material | Key Properties | Typical Applications | Product Form |

Pregelatinized starch is a cold-water soluble, physically modified starch that dissolves and swells directly in cold water without cooking. P-01 to P-05 grades cover five core application areas, with waxy corn, corn, tapioca, potato and wheat bases available.
Water retention and anti-staling: helps slow retrogradation and hardening so frozen dough does not weep through repeated cold-chain freeze-thaw cycles and does not shrink or crack after thawing.

The pregelatinized line is designed for bakery premixes, frozen dough and instant food production. Raw materials cover waxy corn, tapioca, potato and more, and both cold viscosity and mesh size can be precisely customized per order.
Based on these inputs, our application R&D center runs formulation and manufacturing feasibility analysis (DFM), and the RVA lab benchmarks the target viscosity profile before production.
First orders ship in 10–15 working days after sample approval; repeat orders in 7–10 working days.
What procurement and R&D teams ask before switching to pregelatinized starch — answered directly.
There is no MOQ. We support small-batch customization starting from 25 kg trial batches for formulation validation, scaling up to full container loads. Custom cold viscosity or mesh size grades are welcome at any volume.
Free lab samples ship within 48 hours. First production orders ship within 10–15 working days, including export inspection and non-toxic/dangerous-goods testing; repeat orders ship within 7–10 working days.
Yes. We ship 500 g free lab samples within 48 hours so you can evaluate the grade on your own production line. Sample shipping terms — please confirm with our sales team.
Each base has a different profile: waxy corn is a premium base with high amylopectin, low retrogradation and a stable transparent paste; tapioca is the main base with a neutral taste and transparent paste covering the widest range; potato delivers high viscosity and is common in noodle and meat products; regular corn is the cost-optimized bulk base; wheat is available in the pregelatinized line. Share your application and target viscosity — our R&D team recommends the base during formulation.
All grades are produced under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001 management systems, with HALAL and KOSHER certification for global market access. Every shipment includes a per-batch COA covering dry-basis moisture, peak viscosity, heavy metal and microbiology results.
Send us your target processing temperature (cold process or microwave), equipment shear force, oil and moisture ratio, and target shelf life and storage temperature. Our application R&D center runs formulation and manufacturing feasibility analysis (DFM), and the RVA lab benchmarks the viscosity profile — typically within 3 working days — before we produce your sample.
