Every modified starch product at GFMStech belongs to one of two series. Both are produced under one quality system, and both are available with no minimum order quantity.
Physical Modification Drum-dried and extruded pregelatinized starches. Cold water soluble — no cooking required. Instant thickening for sauces, meat products and beverages.

Four commitments that matter when a starch fails on your line — and what we do to make sure yours never does.
Every shipment carries a per-batch COA covering moisture, viscosity, heavy metals and microbiology. Batch-to-batch viscosity is documented across production runs — no surprises on your line.
E-code variants engineered to hold viscosity through >120°C processing, low-pH retort and high-shear pumping — conditions where native starches break down.
Grades tested through 5 freeze-thaw cycles with no water separation — stable texture and no weeping through the cold chain, from frozen dough to frozen sauces.
No MOQ and no lock-in: start with a 25 kg trial batch or a free sample shipped within 48 hours, validate on your line, then scale to full container loads.
What procurement and R&D teams ask before switching to GFMStech modified starch products — answered directly.
Physically modified starch (pregelatinized) is cooked and dried so it dissolves in cold water without further heating — no chemical reagents are used. Chemically modified starch is treated with food-grade reagents to cross-link or substitute the starch molecule, adding acid, heat and shear resistance or freeze-thaw stability. The two series are often combined in one formulation.
There is no MOQ. We support small-batch customization starting from 25 kg trial batches for formulation validation, scaling up to full container loads.
All grades are produced at our single Suzhou factory under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001 management systems, with HALAL and KOSHER certification. Every shipment includes a per-batch COA for 100% batch-to-batch consistency.
Free samples are shipped within 48 hours so you can validate the grade on your own production line before committing to a bulk order.
E1422 (Acetylated Distarch Adipate) is engineered for extreme acid-heat-shear resistance through retort and hot-fill processing. E1442 (Hydroxypropyl Distarch Phosphate) is the first choice when freeze-thaw stability matters, for example in frozen sauces and dressings. View the full 10-variant E-code range →
Yes. Our 4 production lines — including dedicated physical modification and chemical modification lines — allow mixed orders across both series in one shipment, with one COA standard.
